Being Green at Houston Center

At Houston Center, recycling is part of the business plan. In fact, it's a goal to make recycling so easy and automatic that it is a natural, unnoticed part of your every business day.

The average tonnage of paper recycled at 4 Houston Center and The Shops at Houston Center is 12 tons per month, or more than 200 trees every month. The recycling effort has been in place since February, 1996.

At 1 Houston Center and 2 Houston Center, the average tonnage of recyclable materials ranges from about 160 to 200 tons, resulting in more than 75,000 trees saved since August, 1998 when the program started.
